Roku has a channel, nearly for everything. From sporting, to video calling to screen sharing, there are channel applications on Roku that can do absolutely anything. With a channel line up like that, it is natural that we expect an internet browser for Roku as well. Unfortunately, there aren’t any fully functioning internet browser for Roku.
There are however few applications that can bridge the gap and provide a few limited features. Web Browser X.
Web Browser X is a paid channel unlike the earlier one, so it is natural that it offers a lot of features that the poprism app. You can browse for images, videos and what not, just like you would in a normal browser. But the catch here is, the app does not use the internet, but their own servers to fetch information from. This means that they save a lot of responses, and will pick from them. So the search result in this internet browser for Roku is never up to date, and you cannot simply ignore the fact that their servers can only save so much information at the end of the day.
You can even use channels like Roku Mirror to screen share and use Google Chrome on Roku.

- Select the preferred channel.
- From the menu, choose to download and install the application.
- After the application is installed, please open the channel app.
